Fixin' to Sit a Spell?

Built at the turn of the century, this beautiful Bed & Breakfast Inn
beckons you to come and sit a spell while you enjoy one of Western
North Carolina's most beautiful valleys. Located in downtown
Andrews, The Cover House is nestled among majestic mountains,
sparkling lakes, and whitewater rivers offering a "down home"
adventure where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the quiet of
mountain living.

Surrounded by unlimited recreational activities and adventures, The
Cover House boasts convenient access to whitewater rafting,
canoeing, and kayaking. Boating, fishing, and water-skiing are
available at our area lakes. Whether you are a hiker, biker,
golfer, or seek to learn more about our mountain arts and crafts,
it's all conveniently located near The Cover House.

Unique is the heritage of the "mountain folk" of Andrews. With a
population of around 1,500, Andrews offers the advantages of a
closely knit community. The larger metropolitan areas of Atlanta,
Chattanooga, Knoxville, Asheville, and Greenville are located within
150 miles. The Andrews Airport is licensed and insured by the FAA
and offers charter flights throughout the country. Hanger and
tie-down spaces are available at the facility, which features a 5,000
foot lighted air strip. The Great Smokey Mountain Railway has
scheduled tours coming and going on a regular basis from the
Andrews Train Station.

Western North Carolina boasts the deepest gorge east of the Grand
Canyon, numerous lakes, streams, waterfalls, the Blue Ridge Parkway,
and the Great Smokey Mountains. As a guest of The Cover House,
you can explore any of these area attractions. Or if you're "Fixin' to
Sit a Spell," relax in our rocking chairs on the front porch or in
your room.
