The Harborlight Guest House stands watch over beautiful Bogue
Sound and the Intracoastal Waterway.  Situated on a peninsula
with water on three sides, the inn offers panoramic vistas that
are simply spectacular.
 
Guest rooms and suites feature private entrances, private baths, 
and breathtaking views of the waterway.  Amenities include in-room
climate control, ceiling fans, and in-room coffee/tea service.  Elevator
service is available to the second floor, and a wheelchair access waterview room is available on the first floor.
 
A gourmet breakfast is served daily featuring egg and cheese 
specialty dishes with accompaniments of fresh fruits and fresh breads.
Breakfast is served in our waterfront dining room, and three suites
are offered in-room breakfast.
 
There are many places to visit within a short drive of the guest house.
Numerous specialty shops and intimate restaurants can be found in
the waterfront villages of Swansboro and Beaufort, our neighboring
towns.  Barrier island escapes by boat can be arranged.  Boat tours
of Core Sound and the Cape Lookout Lighthouse are favorite guest
get-aways for sun, shelling, and seclusion!
 
Water sport rentals offer kayaking on Bogue Sound, power or
sailboat rentals, or horseback riding on the beach!  Deep sea
fishing excursions can be arranged for 1/2 or full day charters.
Five major golf courses are within easy access of the guest
house, and we will gladly assist in arranging tee times.
